Perched upon the shores of Pittwater, a styled shoot by Sam Riles Photography and Jennifer Go Bridal.
We recently collaborated on a styled shoot with talented wedding photographer, Sam Riles.
Charmed by the history of a Newport family cottage, this collaboration strips bridal style back to it’s origins.
“The shoot reminded me of the days when I would play dress ups with my big sister ~ smacking on lipstick and dancing amongst the trees without a care for grace or perfection”.
Inspired by our hope for brides to treasure the familiar, we created a shoot that dials down bridal style. Many of our brides run off to exotic cities, searching for the 'bigger and better' factor. We looked around our own backyard and felt sentimental; a feeling you don’t often have in foreign locales.
The un-done approach allows Sam’s naturally understated appeal and the delicate beauty of Jennifer Go gowns to speak for themselves; the shoot's simplicity revels in femininity.
Sam prides her work on being authentic, candid and true to the spirit of the occasion. Jennifer Go, creative director of JGB, shares a similar philosophy. She believes every woman’s wedding gown should represent her completely, never overwhelming the bride with inauthentic details.
The Jennifer Go Bridal 'L’ Etoille' collection is just that ~ luxurious yet understated. Feminine, yet still true to the core of each unique bride.
